What are the requirements to bring or import used or worn clothing into the U.S.?
When used clothing is brought or imported into the U.S. to be donated or given to an individual, company or charitable organization, it is not exempt from complying with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements for wearing apparel. (Used clothing brought or imported into the U.S. for sale is subject to the same duty, marking, entry requirements that new clothing is.)
